Integrated B.Com, B.Ed. Programme of Tamilnadu Council for Open and Distance Learning has been introduced to make the teachers self-reliant in teaching Commerce to students  It is planned to equip student-teachers with the fundamental knowledge and skills of commerce education. Such knowledge and skills would help teachers to teach in the classroom of upper primary and secondary school students.
